How to perserve the polarimetric information when do geometric correction

Dear all,
when i run “Geometric→Ellipsoid Correction→Geolocation Grid” on SLC S-1 data, the i and q bands were lost, thus i cannot run “Polarimetric Matrix Generation”. How to solve this problem,so that i can get the geometric corrected image before i do the polarimetric progressing?

You usually perform the terrain correction after the polarimetric analysis because it involves resampling of pixels. Polarimetry decomposes the different scattering mechanisms within one pixelsl. If you change your grid these indications are no longer valid.

thanks a lot,did you mean terrain correction is not needed for polarimetric decomposition?

It is impossible to derive polarimetric decompositions after terrain correction, so you must derive them beforehand.
