I am using SNAP and trying to coregistrate two S1 TOPS images. I use the S1 TOPS Coregistration command, but I get this following error when I lunch the command:
I/O error reading image metadata!
What is the problem?

I have seen this error message a few times when reading S1 data using the S1 Toolbox. I have observed that this error occurs when the input dataset downloaded from the S1 data hub has been corrupted during the download. I have found in each case that by downloading the data again from the S1 data hub I have been able to process the data successfully. On my Linux system I run the command:
$ cmp download1 download2
to compare the two files. I am not sure if there is an md5 checksum that can be used to verify the integrity of the downloaded data, but I should check your input data file.
I hope this information is helpful to you.
I get this error from the ImageIO library reading the GeoTiff bands and running out of memory.
Thanks for the reply,
I think it was a problem of memory, I changed the computer and now it is working.
