Installing SNAP in system whith snapcraft app installed

Hi!

I am installing SNAP in an Ubuntu 20.04 system where snapcraft app is allready installed. By default SNAP installer creates a ./snap directory for installation. In the present case, this directory is already present in the system due to the snapcraft app. Is it safe to install @ the default ./snap directory or I should offer the installer to create an alternative directory?

You should install ESA SNAP to a directory other than ~/snap, maybe ~/esa-snap. The ESA SNAP developers have no control over what the snapcraft developers might do with ~/snap, so using a different directory helps to reduce the possibility of unpleasant surprises.
