Ionosphere correction

Since while I’m having a question on applying the Multilooking operator.
The question goes not only for Ionosphere correction operator, but for
interferograms formation in general. In case I assume the following procedure:

  1. TOPS split
  2. Apply orbits
  3. Backgeocoding
  4. ESD
  5. Interferogram formation
  6. Deburst
  7. Topographic phase removal
  8. Goldstein filtering
  9. Range-Doppler

after which step Multilooking could (not mandatory) be done.
In this tutorial Creating Interferogram for Mapping Earthquake Deformation by using Sentinel-1 Data in SNAP - CUOSGwiki
they use it after the Topographic phase removal. What is your opinion?

The main reason to rise this topic is that in SNAP to carry out the Ionosphere correction it is pointed out that “Create interferograms (with coherence estimation enabled) for each coregistered dataset and deburst. Recommendation: use the GoldsteinPhaseFiltering and Multilook operators to filter the interferograms.” , but not mentioning explicitly at which step of the processing. Somewhere I’ve found that Multilooking should be done just after creating the interferogram.

Thank you for your time and advise.
