Hello everyone,
I encountered the following error when importing ALOS-2 L1.1 data :
Any ideas what might be the cause?
I am using SNAP Desktop Version 7.0.4 in HPC environment.
This is my first time dealing with ALOS data.
Any helps will be appreciated!

I’m not sure if SNAP supports these products. Mabye someone in here has tested it so far.
Did you get them from JAXA?

Yes, I got the data from JAXA.
A stupid question: So what kind of product does SNAP support?

I think I have also ordered ALOS-2 ScanSAR data one day, but I am not sure if I was able to load it.
Let’s ask one of the developers: @lveci can SNAP read ALOS-2 ScanSAR L1.1 products ?

From the Product Format Description (PALSAR-2_xx_Format_CEOS_E_f.pdf ), WBD stands for “Scan SAR nominal [14MHz] mode Dual polarization ”.
Based on this, I suppose my data are not WideBeam products, no?
Because I also see the following info:
VBS: Scan SAR wide mode Single polarization
VBD: Scan SAR wide mode Dual polarization

Or ALOS-2 ScanSAR L1.1 products are not supported yet in SNAP?
