There are 3 menu options that can be used to import Landsat 8 data into the current beta:
- Landsat8 in 15m (GeoTIFF)
- Landsat8 in 30m (GeoTIFF)
- Landsat (GeoTIFF)
The interpretation of georeferencing information is correct when the explicit Landsat 8 menu import options are used, but incorrect for the Landsat menu import option. If the third option must not be used for Landsat8 then I think this needs to made clear to users as it currently appears to have worked, but when you try to add a pin it doesn’t appear and so you have to zoom out significantly to see the pin that’s not actually being placed within the Landsat scene.
