MAJA 4.2 cloud detection and atmospheric correction software has been released as open source

It is our pleasure to announce that the version 4.2 of MAJA cloud screening and atmospheric correction software has been released. It is now a fully open source software, published under the permissive Apache 2.0 licence.
Version 4.2 brings a heavily refreshed code which runs faster, and enables to process cloud masks at 120 m resolution instead of 240. It is also much easier to use, as MAJA downloads and prepares automatically the necessary ancillary data.

Among the improvements, MAJA also supports EU-DEM, so there is no more need to prepare your own DEM in Europe above 60° North where SRTM is not available.
