Metadata attribute 'polarization' not found

Hello,

I tried to run the function Interferogram formation, but i get this erro message: Metadata attribute ‘polarization’ not found. I tried to use 3 datasets, to check if the problem is not only in corrupted data, but the error message was there every time. Do you have any idea where is the problem?

EDIT:

I used sentinel tbx 1.1.1 windows 8.1

I run: S-1 TOPS Split - S-1 TOPS Deburts and then I followed the ESA Stripmap INterferometry tutorial - Create spatial subset from view and InSAR optimized coregistration (i was succesfull with these steps)

I used this data:
S1A_IW_SLC__1SDV_20150808T051706_20150808T051734_007167_009C96_377F and S1A_IW_SLC__1SDV_20150820T051707_20150820T051734_007342_00A158_0C8E

and try the same with this couple:

S1A_IW_SLC__1SDV_20150329T051708_20150329T051735_005242_0069F3_662E
S1A_IW_SLC__1SDV_20150410T051708_20150410T051736_005417_006E4E_D3EA

When reporting a bug one should include all information necessary to replicate the problem, which includes identifying the input product, all taken processing steps, operating system etc.

Please check whether you have the same problem with the current toolbox version SNAP 2.0 beta 6. If yes we will investigate.

I’ll look into this. I think you may be using the InSAR coregistration with the TOPSAR products. You will need to use the TOPSAR coregistration. If that is the case we will need some better warnings.

I tried to run TOPSAR coregistration according to this tutorial http://sentinel1.s3.amazonaws.com/docs/S1TBX%20TOPSAR%20Interferometry%20with%20Sentinel-1%20Tutorial.pdf

Now there is no error message.

I have the same problem. I tried two versions tbx 1.1.1 and SNAP 2.0 beta 06 (Windows 7 64).
I used this data (not TOPS):
S1A_IW_SLC__1SSV_20150730T070019_20150730T070046_007037_009906_64A6
S1A_IW_SLC__1SSV_20150823T070020_20150823T070047_007387_00A28A_5302
Use this tutorial “Sentinel-1 Stripmap Interferometry”. Coregistration succeeds. But when I tried to run the function Interferogram formation, i get this error message “Metadata attribute ‘polarization’ not found.”

Please be aware that you are attempting to apply a Stripmap interferometry tutorial on TOPSAR data products (S1A_IW_SLC). Please use the TOPSAR interferometry tutorial.
