Methodology for deformation analysis

I am working with sentinel 1 TOPSAR data and trying to do deformation analysis. What are the necessary steps of pre processing i must do before starting the analysis. I have a series steps that i have modeled to do analysis. Plz do tell me if there is anything wrong with step and how i can improve it.
1. Data co registration (2014 to 2017) 1 image/year
2. S1 TOPSAR deburst
3. Interferogram generation
4. Topographic phase removal
5. Phase filtering
6. Phase unwrapping (Snaphu)
7. SNAPHU Export
8. Range doppler terrian correction (Study area highly undulated terrain)
9. Geometric projection
10. Final deformation map

Two things to mention:

  • I found my interferograms to be of better quality if I deburst after interferogram formation.
  • Projection is unnecessary in my opinion because you can chose the coordinate reference system in the range doppler terrain correction step already .

1 image per year might work in a desert but otherwise the coherence will be very low, except for Persistent Scatterers (PS).

I think that steps 6 and 7 are not in the right order. First you need to export to SNAPHU than perform unwrapping with SNAPHU and in the following step Import from SNAPHU to continue in SNAP

Hi,
Why not remove the flat phase?
