Minimum AOI (km^2) size for InSAR analysis

Hi guys

I was wondering if there was a rule of thumb for the size of an area of interest to apply TOPSAR interferometric analysis. This will help me save time in processing and waiting. I will be looking at dams around 5- 10km^2 in area.

Also, how can i know which subswath my AOI is in, using SNAP.

I would say the only constraint are that the the coregistration finds enough GCPs and AOI has enough areas with high coherence. Both depends on the heterogeneity of surfaces and landcover, so I would not define this by a fixed number.
