Mt_prep_snap (@: Badly formed number.)

Dear @ABraun sir,

I am trying to call the mt_prep_snap script during the Amplitude Dispersion step but encountered an error that I’m unsure how to resolve. I would appreciate any guidance or troubleshooting steps you might suggest.

Looking forward to your response.

Thank you!

Hi, did you manage to solve this error?

Hi,

I’m also encountering this error. Processed using SNAP 11, Ubuntu 20.04,

EDIT:
I’ve successfully run this when I downgraded my version to SNAP 9.

I’ve tried using SNAP 10 and SNAP 11 for snap2stamps but it generates the error @: badly formed number.

You can download the previous SNAP versions here:

Hello everyone!

I tried to fix the Mt_prep_snap (@: Badly formed number.) error by loading SNAP version 9. However, during the export procedure (Export PSI), SNAP returns an error and does not allow exporting data processed in this version. Thus, the problem could not be solved, are there any other ways? And what is the reason for this error?

Thank you.

were you able to solve this? have you tried using other snap version?

I’m able to solve it by following this:⁣
I had carried out only the orbital correction operation using ESA SNAP 9, and all the remaining steps (Coreg, IFG generation, and Exporting) are carried out by ESA SNAP 10.

is it possible to install 2 different snap version?

I don’t know. After the first step, uninstall SNAP 9 and install SNAP 10.

Maybe this topic will help you

thank you. it seems that the processing works fine even just using snap version 9 but thanks!
