Downloaded .tar from Earth Explorer and tried drag and drop into SNAP. Got “No appropriate product reader found”. Tried with Import -> Landsat and got the same message. Any idea to open import the Landsat imagery?
There’s a search icon on the top right corner… this other topics seem to have a information relevant to your problem…can you please have a look?

The solutions in the other topics don’t work. I still can’t open the Landsat imagery. It’s level 1 data…
Like Marco says in the first linked topic…if you have Collection-2 data, this is not supported by SNAP…
