in Windows use Miniconda (or Anaconda and follow the steps) as mentioned by @ABraun following the github guidelines. Be aware that OST is not an official SNAP package, but rather a python API on top that needs to be installed independently. You should have at least a basic understanding of python for that.
It is also not thoroughly tested on Windows, but use the github’s issue page of OST for reporting problems.
Also be aware that you will need enough processing power on your Windows machine.
