"Orbit_State_Vectors" in SNAP (SAR data)

Hi, excuse me for a simple question of “Orbit_State_Vectors” of SAR data in SNAP.
As below, in the “Abstracted_Metadata”, there is a field named “Orbit_State_Vectors”. So what are the values of “x_pos”, “y_pos”, and “z_pos”? Furthermore, what are the units of these values (metre or pixel or …)?

Those are the the position in meters and velocity in m/s in Earth-fixed coordinate system, see:

I got a question that may sound funny, but why are there 12 orbit vectors? To what does each one correspond exactly? Thank you!
