Problem in S-1 TOPS Merge: Error in graph: [Nodeld: TOPSAR-Merge] data is not an istance of String, char[] or byte[] or the length is less than one

Hi everyone.

while processing a mix of S1-A and S1-B to obtain an interferogram:
Master: S1B_IW_SLC__1SDV_20160827T051035_20160827T051102_001798_002B0D_2E7D.zip
Slave: S1A_IW_SLC__1SDV_20160821T051116_20160821T051143_012694_013F33_53E5.zip

I got stuck to a problem related to S-1 TOPS Merge: Error in graph: [Nodeld: TOPSAR-Merge] data is not an istance of String, char[] or byte[] or the length is less than one.

The single steps of the processing chain leading to Tops Merge did not cause any problem, giving fine output files at each step:

  • Open the two SLC IW images
  • S1 TOPS Coregistration [Polarization VV, 1-9 bursts, Sentinel Precise Orbits, SRTM 1Sec HGT DEM], once for each subswath
  • Interferogram formation [default parameters], once for each subswath
  • S1 TOPS Deburst [VV Polarization], once for each subswath
  • S1 TOPS Merge [IW1, IW2 and IW3 processed interferograms]: ERROR!!!

The processing chain is very straightforward, I had no problems like this before.
Any hint?

I have seen in the forum that another user got errors [although not the one I obtained] in merging subswaths from the very same images ( http://forum.step.esa.int/t/topsar-merge-error-during-s1a-s1b-interferogram-java-lang-nullpointerexception/3160 ).

My system:
Snap 4.0.2
S1TBX 4.0.3
Intel I-7 based PC, 16Gb RAM, Debian 4.4.6-1 (2016-03-17) x86_64 GNU/Linux
