Python 2.7 EOL / Porting sen2cor to Python 3

Hi,

as Python 2.7 End-Of-Life is approaching in 2020 (see PEP 373) I’m wondering whether the sen2cor dev team is working on porting to Python 3?

I didn’t find any open Issues regarding this in the JIRA board.

Looking at sen2cor 2.5.5, it should be relatively straight-forward to port to Python 3.
However, as in this previous attempt by DrGuy the main Issue will be to port the black-boxed code of the L2A_AtmCorr.so.

So, are there any plans to port this to Python3? And if so, what is the timetable?
