RGB time series

Hello !

I would like to perform a time series analysis of sentinel 2 RGB images. But since they are obtained as individual bands (r,g,b)how can I combine them.
Is there any formula to combine RGB that can be used in band math tool ?

Kindly guide

Can I ask what kind of information you want to observe over time and why you want to reduce your analysis to 3 bands or even only one?

I would like to observe the change before and after an earthquake and observe big landslides. I was under the impression that the RGB data can show major changes such as landslides after the earthquakes.

you could calculate the NDVI as a proxy as it was suggested in this study: https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s10346-019-01178-8

Thank you . I understand now.

However as shown in the following study, my understanding is that RGB time series can help us visualize the fault line change too.

so i was wondering if such analysis is possible in snap.

if you just want to look at the images and compare them, you simply download the entire data and create RGB composits.

You can use the Layer Manager to swipe between two product views.

If you want to create time-lapse videos, I rather suggest the EO Browser: https://apps.sentinel-hub.com/eo-browser/

Thank you i tried it but i am unable to get the “create gif” option. Kindly guide

just follow the steps in the video and click on “download” once you have created the time series and a GIF will be exported.
