S1 scene geographically misplaced

Dear Forum,

I have recently stumbled upon a geographically misplaced S1 scene. I am pretty sure that this is not a processing error in SNAP, but something further up the processing chain. Could you direct me to the proper address to report this bug?

The scene “S1D_IW_GRDH_1SDH_20260531T154517_20260531T154550_003030_005398_6A7C.SAFE.zip“ over Svalbard seems to be displaced by a kilometer or so from where it should be on the globe. This can be observed in the Copernicus dataspace when simply displaying the SAR image over Northern Svalbard for the 31.05.2026. See attached screenshot (own processing with SNAP13):

I think best would be to submit a request to CDSE: Submit a request – Copernicus Data Space Ecosystem | Help Center

Alternatively you can report it in the community forum: Copernicus Data Space Ecosystem | Community forum

Products acquired after this date are not impacted.

The S1A and S1C products are not impacted.

You will find more details on this anomaly in

On of the main impact of the anomaly is a shift of around 1250m in the azimuth direction.

The way to correct the products acquired during this period is under assessment.

Kind regards
