What kind of parameters you would change in order to optimize sen2cor for the coastal area?

I am interested for chlorophyll-a retrieval from satelite data.

Dear Giannis,

I would suggest to use the C2RCC algorithm to perform both atmospheric correction and estimation of Chlorophyll-a concentration in coastal areas.
You can find it in SNAP menu under: Optical --> Thematic Water Processing --> C2RCC Processors.

Resampling S2 data before using the C2RCC processor using the S2Resample operator (under: Optical --> Geometric --> S2 Resampling processor) is warmly advised, as reported in this post:

Hello everyone, I am using the C2RCC operator in the last SNAP 6 release (beta 5) on Sentinel-2 MSI products to monitor river color. After resampling the Sentinel-2 MSI product to 10 m with the resampling operator, I have run the C2RCC operator for S2-MSI sensor.
