Sentinel-1D support SNAP

Hi all,

When Sentinel-1C was launched last year, processing it with SNAP tools like calibration required upgrading to SNAP 12, which came out shortly after the data became available.

With Sentinel-1D’s overlapping operations period running from mid-April to end of June 2026, we are already preparing the work that needs to be done to support Sentinel-1D data in our workflows.

Two questions:

  1. Does SNAP 13.0.0 fully support Sentinel-1D, or will support only come with SNAP 14?
  2. What’s the expected release timeline for SNAP 14?

Please see the answers below:

  1. Sentinel-1D is fully supported in SNAP 13.
  2. SNAP 14 is currently planned for release at the end of July.
