Square pixels

How does the range doppler terrain correction create square pixels? Does it do it by multi looking?
I am trying to preserve the image spatial resolution so would like to avoid multi looking, but I do require terrain correction.
Can anyone clarify please?

It is done by resampling, multilooking is not a requirement. Of course, in case the resolution differs in range/azimuth you’ll need to set the output resolution according to the higher resolution of the two.
