Before I could run SNAP with downloaded zip files,
Nowadays the files are 2x larger and called zip (from Copernicus).
It costs a lot of local space on available storage locally to work with the new 2x times bigger files (withmanifest) in order to get the third swath.
The downloaded files can be unzipped and take 4 x the local diskspace temporarily compare to 1 year ago.
It seems to be the price to be able to retrieve files from the database at Copernicus, but at the cost of diskspace for a simple EU taxpayer to access data.
Is there a remedy to have smaller files accessible (save local storage space)
