STEP ESA RESORB mirror not synchronized with Copernicus Dataspace after June 03 maintenance

Hello,

it looks like the STEP ESA Sentinel-1 RESORB mirror is currently not synchronized with Copernicus Dataspace.

As one example, the file

S1A_OPER_AUX_RESORB_OPOD_20260605T222821_V20260605T184134_20260605T215904.EOF

is available in Copernicus Dataspace, but it is currently missing from the STEP ESA mirror:

https://step.esa.int/auxdata/orbits/Sentinel-1/RESORB/S1A/2026/06/

This file is needed for processing the following Sentinel-1A GRD products:

S1A_IW_GRDH_1SDV_20260605T193643_20260605T193708_064838_082B8D_0C83.SAFE
S1A_IW_GRDH_1SDV_20260605T193708_20260605T193733_064838_082B8D_DC7C.SAFE

However, this does not seem to be an isolated case. Many more RESORB files appear to be missing from the STEP ESA mirror, especially for dates after June 03, 2026.

Our current hypothesis is that this may be related to the STEP maintenance announced for June 03, 2026, during which STEP services including orbit file downloads were unavailable. Since then, the RESORB mirror appears not to have fully caught up with Copernicus Dataspace.

Could you please check whether there is currently a synchronization issue or delay affecting the STEP ESA Sentinel-1 RESORB mirror?

Thank you!

Thank you for reporting this issue. There was a synchronization problem between the STEP server and the Copernicus Data Space. The issue has now been resolved, and the orbit files should be available again on the STEP server.
