Subset on GRD data

Hi!
I am doing a tutorial on “Time-series analysis with Sentinel-1”.

I have a question about “subset”.
In this tutorial, the subset is done after all preprocessing. Is it ok to do subset in the early stage? In that case, is there any condition for the timing of subset?
If I remember correctly, subset should be applied after Split and Deburst on SLC data. Is there anything like that on GRD data?

you can create a subset on GRD data at every stage, I’d say.
