Use of an external tool written in C++

Hello all,
I would like to ask a question. We have developed an application in C++ and I would like to use it with SNAP. I was going through the documentation and I cannot find the final answer for it.

If I understood it correctly, I cannot use as a plugin as it needs to be written in Java, right? But what about to use the executable as an external tool?

Hi,
exactly for this purpose the Standalone Tool Adapter exists.
You should find some pages in the help about it (Sentinel Toolbox Application / Tools / Standalone Tool Adapter).
In the application you find it in the menu at Tools / Manage External Tools.
