I am a beginner in the use of Snap.
I would like to know which Sentinel data (1A and B, 2A and B or 3A and B…) are preferable to detect the presence of cetaceans, count them and identify the species?
Also, can you tell me the steps to follow on SNAP to detect the species as best as possible?

None of the Sentinel data is suitable and no other freely available data I know of.
Sentinel-2 and Sentinel-3 do not have the required spatial resolution and Sentinel-1 cannot penetrate the water surface.
The projects which do this already use commercial satellite data like WorldView.
