Error Topographic Phase Remove

I only know that there are naming conventions for the DEM placed inside the aux folder but I don’t know the exact requirements.

Hi, How can I force snap to not automatically download the DEM (during terrain correction) and use the DEM dataset that is already available in some other directory? It worked with the older version of S1TBX by changing the DEM path in “~\S1TBX\config\s1tbx.auxdata.config” file. I tried the same procedure with “~\snap\etc\snap.auxdata.properties” file, but still it is trying to download data from http://srtm.csi.cgiar.org/ . Is this hard coded?!

External DEM in Terrain Correction

Hi Everyone, I would like to use an external DTM for terrain correction. I was wondering if it is possible to provide a folder full of DTM geotiff files as external DTM source instead of a single file. SNAP can then do something similar to what it does SRTM data i.e. use only the files that are relevant for the area. I ask because my DTM files are partitioned into small size files and I would ideally wouldn’t want to mosaic the DTM if not necessary. Thanks, Sanjay.

I understand that many people have problems incorporating external DEMs into SNAP (particularly the S-1 toolbox) and that this discussion has been taken up several times. Iceland Aster DEM Coregistration Auxdata

Hello, I am trying to use Aster 1sec GDEM tiles that I downloaded from NASA’s Earthdata Website for Sentinel-1 TOPS Coregistration of SLC IW images acquired over Iceland. I am using OS X El Capitan 10.11.5. I placed the tiles in zip-format in the AuxData/DEMs/ASTER folder and checked that the snap.auxdata.properties file points to that location. Hello everybody, When performing the operation «Topographic Phase Remover», the option «External DEM» does not work. Here is the comparison of the results for «External DEM» and «SRTM_3Sec (Auto Download)»: [image] But there is no SRTM for my territory of interest (further north than 60 N). Please explain to me how to use the «External DEM»? I use SNAP 2.0.2
