Interferometric processong of products with one burst overlap

Hi,

Anybody has experience with processing two S1 products (6-day temporal baseline) that overlap only by one burst? For me it seems that in at least certain cases that is not possible. Do I get it correctly that we are intended to use slice assembly?

In case the bursts of two images are belonging to the same orbit track, it is possible to apply slice assembly
