At my university we are developing the updated version of our open-source GIS/RS software (ILWIS) and we would like to be able to read directly Sentinel-2 data. Our software includes a python console so we are thinking we should be able to develop a script to read directly S2 formats without passing through GDAL… e.g. a type of connector…(?)
Could you please give me some hints on what would be the easiest way to achieve the objective?
