S1 Radar - Apply Orbit File not responding

Dear SNAP users,

When I intend to implement ‘Radar - Apply Orbit File’ on Sentinel-1 image S1A_IW_SLC__1SDV_20190106T194432_20190106T194500_025361_02CEC1_9C59 , there is no response in SNAP, not even error messages.

I have went through a few similar solution threads, and downloaded some orbits .EOF files (please see below) regarding the image above, saved these files in C:\Users.snap\auxdata\Orbits\Sentinel-1.

However, still can’t get ‘Apply Orbit File’ functioning, could you please help with this issue?

In my case (Linux) and I think it should be similar on Windows the orbit files should be under two folders:

.*RESORB.* under <home>/.snap/auxdata/Orbits/Sentinel-1/RESORB
.*ORBPRE.* under <home>/.snap/auxdata/Orbits/Sentinel-1/POEORB/

Under each these folders/directories there should be a folder for S1A and S1B followed by the year and months as per the zip you downloaded followed. Here’s an example of how it should be organized (note that the zip is not to be extracted!):

C:\Users.snap\auxdata\Orbits\Sentinel-1\RESORB\S1A\2019\01\S1A_OPER_AUX_RESORB_OPOD_20190106T200022_V20190106T153210_20190106T184940.EOF.zip

In other words, they should be organized just as they are on the server where they were downloaded.

Moreover, I noticed that S1B_OPER_MPL_ORBPRE_20190106T200403_20190113T200403_0001 does not exist on the server. Where did you download it from?

Could you update the s1tbx modules of SNAP to the latest. There’s been an update to how the orbit files are retrieved from the QC archive.

I followed your recommendation, upgraded to SNAP to ver. 6.0.7, but the error is still present. I tried with restituted orbits as well - the result is the same.

Could you please clarify?
